Edited by Loris Brissac | Written by Rubem Penz. The book was published in order to celebrate the sixtieth anniversary of the law firm Faraco de Azevedo, based in Porto Alegre, Brazil. The design should present the founder's tradition combined with the youthful spirit of his successors. It should not resemble a portfolio, but a work of literature, consisting of chronicles and testimonials. Solidness, tradition, expertise should be translated in light, elegant and sober ways. The design team decided to find visual metaphors for teamwork as a core concept. In nature, we found the idea of organized migratory birds flying arrow-shaped, with a bird in front, guiding and protecting the others, until they switch positions with another bird with greater energy. In the cover, two birds can be seen through the window we created on paper. When the book is opened, we see the other birds flying together.
