Campos Sulinos Design developed for a book edited under the Seal of the Ministry of Environment (Brazil). The publication covers the environmental history of the Fields, their characteristics, the proper ways of handling them for breeding animals, and the challenges for their conservation and sustainable use. This work is an accomplishment of the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul – UFRGS – along with Grupo de Estudos em Pastagens Naturais – GEPAN. It was financed by Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico – CNPq – and by the United Nations Development Programme – UNDP.
